pleasant stay but minor improvements needed
The hotel had a modern style that I really appreciated. The staff were consistently polite and eager to help, enhancing my experience significantly.
The view from the room was not particularly impressive, lacking a scenic outlook.

We enjoyed staying in a spacious, clean room, and appreciated the substantial breakfast that helped us fuel up for our daily adventures in Porto. Visiting the city’s historic center with my family, including mom, was a highlight that made our trip special.
In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if the hotel had a playroom for the kids.

The room was clean and had good Wi-Fi, which was a plus for me as I needed to get some work done. The AC worked well to keep things cool. However, the room felt a bit cramped with limited space for luggage, especially since I arrived with a lot. The beds were comfortable though, making it easier to recharge after a long travel day.

Great location near Porto, but rooms felt a bit cramped without proper ventilation.

I recently stayed at Star Inn and found it to be a clean, budget-friendly place. The staff seemed genuinely friendly and responsive to any questions I had. The room was regular but spacious enough for my needs. I appreciated the good shower with great pressure and temperature. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, which made it uncomfortable during the warmer nights. The location is a bit far from the downtown area, but there's a convenient bus right outside that takes about 20 minutes to reach the center for only €2.50. Breakfast was decent with enough options to start the day but could improve with more variety. Additionally, the lighting in some areas felt a bit dull, especially at night. Overall, I would consider returning because of the value provided, but addressing the room's cooling issue would make the stay much more pleasant.
